Provo, Utah--Novell has chosen DoxTek, a document technologies company, to implement an electronic document management system designed to improve the sharing of invoice and expense report documentation across its entire organization.

The DoxTek solution uses document scanners at Novell’s accounts payable processing facilities in Provo, Utah and Dublin, Ireland to convert invoices and expense reports into digital images. These images are linked to corresponding data in Novell’s financial software and stored in a web-based archive, thereby allowing authorized users to view the scanned images from their computers anywhere in the organization by using a standard web browser.

Novell’s accounts payable manager, Chris Lundquist is extremely pleased with the results of the implementation. “The scanning of invoices and expense reports, coupled with the integration with our financial software has saved us countless hours of retrieving and copying invoices and receipts. These documents can now be viewed online from our computers without ever leaving our desks.”
