Provo, Utah – March 18, 2004 – During the 2004 AIIM exposition in New York City, the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) presented an award to DoxTek for having the nation’s highest percentage of CompTIA CDIA+™ certified professionals in a VAR (value added reseller) company.
The CompTIA CDIA+™ certification is a global standard of competency and validates an imaging professional’s level of expertise to plan, design, and implement a document imaging system.
Gene Salois, vice president of Certification for CompTIA said, “DoxTek is to be commended for its focus on a comprehensive CompTIA CDIA+ certification program. They are putting first things first— assuring customers a high level of service and employee expertise.”
Seventy-five percent of DoxTek’s full-time employees are currently CompTIA CDIA+™ certified and DoxTek provides periodic training sessions for employees who are not certified.
“We strongly encourage all of our full-time employees to become CDIA+ certified regardless of their job capacity,” said Michael Miles, President of DoxTek. “It is important that everyone has a strong knowledge base.”
DoxTek has been providing document imaging products and solutions for the last six years and has a presence in Provo, Utah and Bloomington, Indiana. Major clients include Zions Bank, Novell, Questar Corporation, University of Utah and the Utah Tax Commission.
