Provo, Utah – June 10, 2005 – During the 17th Annual Sen. Reed Smoot Outstanding Citizens Awards Banquet, DoxTek, Inc. received the Reed Smoot Small Business Award—presented by the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce and Wells Fargo Bank.
“DoxTek exemplifies the high quality of small businesses in our community and we are happy to recognize their achievements,” said Steve Densley, president of the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce.
The Reed Smoot Awards, named after the late Sen. Reed Smoot, are dedicated to recognizing leaders within the Provo-Orem community. Recipients are selected from business, community, citizenship, education and environmental categories.
Michael Miles, president of DoxTek, commented, “It is a humbling experience for DoxTek to be awarded such a prestigious honor. We are grateful to be a part of the Utah Valley community.”
DoxTek has been a member of the Utah Valley business community for the last five years, growing from a home business into a multi-million dollar software development organization.
