Provo, Utah – August 2, 2002 – DoxTek, Inc., a technology solution provider, is working with the BankCard Application Processing Center of Zions Bank, to implement a system at Zions that will allow customer service representatives to more quickly serve the needs of their clients. Zions Bank is Utah’s largest local bank, with 126 branches throughout the state and an additional 23 branches in Idaho.
“The use of this technology allows our customer service representatives to quickly access information on bankcard applications, thus allowing them to better serve our clients requests for information,” said Paul Neuenschwander, senior vice president, Zions Bank. “The implementation of this new system has also improved the overall efficiency of our bankcard operations.”
Until recently, Zions Bank’s BankCard Application Processing Center used a proprietary system, making it necessary for customer service representatives to manually request application information.
Through the new DoxTek-designed system, it is now possible for Zions Bank employees to scan bankcard applications directly into the bank’s FileNET system, making the information immediately accessible to customer service representatives.
“The system we put into place at Zions Bank makes it possible for customers who have questions about their application to get on-the-spot feedback,” said Brandon Groom, vice president of technology at Doxtek. “The system also allows customers’ applications to be instantaneously sent to other bank representatives, such as a mortgage officer, eliminating the need for duplicate forms.”
Through the new system, Zions Bank is also able to archive scanned applications on CD for easy storage and retrieval.
Presently only current applications are being processed through the new system. DoxTek is in the process of converting past applications to be compatible with the new system.
